Sugar is used by our bodies to create energy. Sugar is a carbohydrate which is an important source of energy. The problem is that our body takes sugar from the foods we eat and when that food is laced with extra sugar, it becomes a big problem. Modern diets are loaded with sugars and sweets. Lemonade seems innocent enough and in fact, most people think it’s good for them because lemons are full of vitamin C. Better yet, just make your own with fresh lemons and just a little raw organic honey.

If you take a look at the label on a can of tomato soup you’ll find that the second ingredient may be high-fructose corn syrup. This doesn’t mean you have to cut tomato soup out of your diet, just dilute it with some extra veggies and limit your intake to a half cup serving size.
